5K Fun Run
Registration:
Register on the TISS 50th Anniversary Reunion registration form. The entry fee is included in the $50.00 registration fee for the weekend. Please also complete and bring the completed consent form to the fun run registration area. All participants must complete a consent form before participating in this event.
Those who wish only to participate in the Fun Run may register beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Sat. May 22, 2010 with a volunteer donation to the TISS 50th Reunion. Join us at the TISS track.All are welcome - TISS alumni and current students, plus Brockville Road Runners Club members are encouraged to run, plus any members of the community who would like to join in.
All participants will be required to sign a waiver form prior to the run. Those under 18 years of age must also have the signature of a parent or guardian on their waiver form.
Start Time: 8:00 a.m. on Sat. May 22, 2010
Course Route:
Start and finish on the TISS track with 2 loops on the residential streets to the north of the TISS campus.
“Street Loop” on the streets to the north of TISS to be run twice;
Details:
- exit TISS campus running north via the paved pathway to the west of the track beside the fence
- left on Tupper St. to Alwington St.
- turn right onto Alwington St., then right on Bowie St., then left onto Peden Blvd.
- run north on Peden Blvd. to Laurier Blvd., turn right
- run east a short distance to the first right turn onto Borden Cres.
- run south to the bottom of the Borden loop, then continue to Durham St. and turn right
- run east a short distance to Vanier Dr., turn right and run south to Peden Blvd.
- turn right onto Peden Blvd., then a quick left onto Tupper St. returning to the start of the 2km. loop
- after completing the second “Street Loop”, runners will return to the TISS track via the paved pathway.
